Vacation Residence in Patmos

The project involves the reconstruction of a vacation residence in Agrio Livadi of island Patmos. It entails the complete reconstruction of two existing stone-wall  ruins. The interventions focus on the structural restoration of the existing shell, with minor alterations to the building facades. Shade structures and seating arrangements, as well as interior modifications and constructions, are planned. One building accommodates the bedrooms with two guest rooms, while the second contains the living spaces, including a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and storage.

The owners' intention to preserve key elements of the original buildings and avoid excessive alterations shaped the proposal. Cost-effectiveness in construction and the selection of materials and colors that adhere to local traditions and techniques constituted the core of the proposal.
