Katerina Daskalaki studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and graduated in 2011. She holds a postgraduate master's degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) regarding the A2 Program. As a freelance professional, she is involved in architectural studies and participates in international architectural competitions.
In November 2012 she was awarded with an honorable mention for the pan-European Architectural Competition for the Park Redevelopment of the Pallourokampos area in Latsia, Cyprus and with the First Prize for the pan-Hellenic Competition "IrakleionX4" in 2013, while in March 2014 the proposal for the International Competition "Museum for the Mythical Ship of Argo" won a Distinction.
Her competition entry for the "Bauhaus Museum in Dessau" was awarded with a Commendation at the Annual "Domes International Review of Architecture Awards" in February 2016.
Her proposal of the General Renovation of the outdoor spaces of the German School of Athens won the 1st prize at the invited Architectural Competition.
Additionally, the design of the offices for the shipping company Element Shipmanagement received an Architecture Award for 2013-2017 from the Hellenic Institute of Architecture (EIA).
Her work has been awarded and presented in architectural exhibitions and has been published in architectural magazines.
